Seeking any information on Robert and Elizabeth Adams in Fayette, Linn, Iowa in 1860-70. Robert Adams is gone on 1870 census. I think he was killed in Civil War and I am trying to get that record now. Where is he buried? Also, on 1880 Census in Missouri Elizabeth arrives with Ellen, Griffin, and John. William Adams born 1851, in Illinois is missing. Also Alice Adams, born 1853 in Illinois is missing. The family lived in Fayette, Linn, Iowa through 2 census records. Thanks, Doris Barnhart
