Jan, The World War 1 Draft Registration card completed in 1917 shows he is married - living in Des Moines, Polk County, IA. The 1920 census enumeration in Seattle, King Co., WA has the child as 2 years 4 months....that would make a birth date somewhere around September 1917....the child was born in Iowa.
