Here is what you need to do to search just the Civil War Pension Records: Click on Search Records at top of page Then Click on Military Records (on the right of the page) Then go towards the bottom of the page under Search Individual Military Databases: and select Civil War Pension Index Then click on the go button. This will take you to a page to submit your search. This is the only way at this time that I have been able to find records that I was once able to find with the search engine from the main page on Ancestry. I do hope this is of some help to you.
