Knowing Ancestry, they more than likely figured out a way to charge extra for them. For me, they get more expensive and deliver less!! It seems like "A" has a way of making changes and not telling anyone. The information is still there and it doesn't cost any more (this time) - it's just a more complicated path now to find it. I agree with you about Ancestry. I recently did the two free week thing and found a few things I didn't have but I didn't feel it warrented subscribing to the tune of $200.00 for a year. I would just as soon take a trip to Salt Lake City to the Family History Library. For me it is not so bad for I live in Arizona. ----- Original Message ----- From: "bhoudek" <bhoudek@swbell.net> To: <IOWA-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, September 20, 2004 6:02 AM Subject: Re: [IOWA] Civil War Records > Knowing Ancestry, they more than likely figured out a way to charge extra > for them.
