My great-great Uncle--Alonzo Locy/Locey/Losey b. PA is found in the 1870 Census in Hardin Co, IA with a second wife, Hulda/Huldah. The name on the census (so I am told) is SOSY. They have three sons, Franklin, age 11, b. PA, Charles, age 5, and Arthur age 4. I do not have a copy of the census and would really appreciate it if sks could send me one. I do not find them in the LDS listing for 1880 under any of the possible spellings, but I have been told that in the 1900 Census and 1920 Census Hulda is in the Buchanan County Hospital for the Insane. Alonzo or Lonzo Locy was married to my great-great-Aunt, Maria Carpenter, before Hulda, but they divorced and allegedly he moved into IA as part of a LDS settlement.
