    3. Is there any alternate spelling for Upea? Heritage Quest doesn't show a match for this surname. There is a 16 year old Lydia Lauver in Center County PA in 1860. She'd have been 35 by a marriage date of 1879, so it may not be the same one. Any more information? 3. She died in Adams county in 1900. She was born around Dec.1822 in Penn. I have heard of Henry Listed mostly as Upea by also on occasion as Upca. Her first husband was Joe Lauver (father of her 10 children) then Henry in 1876 (according to rootsweb) and by 1881 she married Frederick Young who I believe was origionally from England. >X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2180 >X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2900.2180 >Return-Path: sthielmann@machlink.com >X-OriginalArrivalTime: 16 Dec 2004 22:51:31.0141 (UTC) >FILETIME=[C8DE1F50:01C4E3C1] > >Is there any alternate spelling for Upea? 3. Sandra, Since you're not finding your Lydia in 1880 connected to a Henry Upea, I did find this in 1880 Prescott twp, Adams co, Ia. Household of Frank Lover, 21, Il, Pa, Pa. Albert Lover 15, Il, Pa, Pa, Lydia Lover 57. Pa, Pa, Pa. And living next door is John Lover 38, Pa, Pa, Pa. Jane W. Lover 25, In, Ky, Ky, Retta M. Lover 5, Ia, Pa, Ky. The enumerator did not list relationships to the heads of household in these 2 families other than "other". Dick May you live to be a hundred, with an extra year to repent!
