Thank you to everyone who tried to help with this particular brick wall. Those of you who sent info on Fayette W. Schenck in Marcus, Stevens, Washington, despite the closeness of the name this is not my family. This Fayette was also present in Marcus in 1910, when my Fayette Schenck & family was in Wenatchee. Donnie, thank you, I will check anywho for Schencks still in Iowa. RC, yes, I believe the cemetery record you found was, indeed, for my Inez E. Schenck. Thank you, this narrows down the time they moved to Washington to a frame of about 2 years. I do have a little more info on them, if it will help anyone. Fayette C. Schenck owned the Burr Oak Hotel (also known as the Masters) for a time around 1900. He also owned the Burr Oak Mercantile (I am assuming this is a General store) & sold it in 1906. Also, Burr Oak held an "Old Settlers Picnic", with some 3 or 400 people in attendance, which was held on Fayette Schenck's property. I believe the year for this was about 1906 as well. If anyone comes across other info for Fayette & Chloe, please forward it to me. It would be very much appreciated. Lana Piche Saskatchewan, Canada
