No, it is a free website. You can view the micofiche copy without a membership to anything. Go to the very bottom of the page, and put the name in the search box. It takes you to an index with a spreadsheet. Click on "index" (inx) at very top. Find the name you are looking for, then go back to the spread sheet page and find the row of the letter and go to the column under the number. Click on that and it will open the microfiche page with your surnames listed. This cannot be printed or highlighted & pasted (tried both), but at least you get a death date and place (although the county and city are abbreviated and I could not find a key to that). Try it.
