We have a woman in our family who is listed in 1910 as having had 2 children, both living, yet we know for a fact, and in fact have the original birth record for one of them, both children were adopted. In fact we also know that in 1905 she was admitted to the Mayo Clinic to be checked for fertility and that she was told she could not have children. Annie in Minnesota
