I know they won't give out any info-my husband's great grand aunt passed away there and all I asked for was WHERE they buried the lady! Hope you have better luck than I did! I had luck at least confirming the presence of an ancestor in an Iowa asylum by looking at the on-line census records for their name in a year they were said to have been there. The census takers in some years did enumerate the inmates, as well as list their "occupations" which were usually the area of the institution where they were assigned to work if they were able. (i.e., "seamstress," "yardwork" etc. or often, "none.") Good luck. Jeanne S.
