Hello all! I'm searching for some information on the KUENZEL family. John Christopher and his brother John Henry lived in Iowa and helped form the town from what I understand. I have found some information on the history of Clayton County and the history of Garnavillo. If anybody has any of this family or any information I would love it! Thanks!!!! My Line is the following: 1 Michael Konrad KUENZEL b: 1790 d: 1844 + Katherine Barbara POHLMANN b: 1799 d: 1840 2 John Christopher KUENZEL b: 13 JUL 1821 Markt Leuthen, Bayen, Germany + Caroline PAUL b: 15 AUG 1829 Amt Stolzenau, Hannover, Germany d: 27 JUN 1893 buried at the Garnavillo City Cemetery 3 Marion KUENZEL b: 18 MAY 1867 Garnavillo, IA d: 30 MAR 1936 Wadena, Minnesota + Frank OUSLEY b: 14 MAR 1865 Iowa d: 8 MAR 1929 Minnesota 4 Florence Mae OUSLEY b: 17 APR 1897 Clayton, Iowa d: 1 DEC 1975 Wadena, Minnesota + Fred Ivan McGARRY b: 21 MAR 1896 d: JAN 1969 Minnesota John Christopher was commonly called JC and had a brother, John Henry. They can also be found as Johann C(h)ristof and Johann Heinrich. Caroline was also know as Sophia Karoline. Marion has also been listed at Mary, Mary Anne, Mary Anna, etc. Fred Ivan was mostly known as Ivan. The family could have come to Iowa from Ohio. Any information on this family would be greatly appericated. Also, the location of the Garnavillo City Cemetery would be great as well.
