He and his son James immigrated after 1841: James Richison Badham Birth: 02 SEP 1841 Manchester, Lancashire, England Death: 27 DEC 1888 Marriages: Spouse: Eliza A. Fisher Marriage: 16 JAN 1865 Manti, Fremont, Iowa On the 1880 census the son James indicates both parents were born England. James' mother may have been a RICHISON, but she could have died before they ever got to the USA. Samuel enlisted at Council Bluffs in the U.S. Mormon Battalion in July 1846 as a Private in Company D. He was a member of LT Willis' detachment which wintered in Pueblo, Colorado.
