Hi Marie I have Van Cleaves in my line. My g-grandmother was Sarah Catherine "Kate" Van Cleave Johnson. She was born in Orange Co IN in 1846 to John, b. 1810 KY, and Sarah Dunn Van Cleave. John's parents were Benjamin and Sarah Kerns Van Cleave. This line goes back to Jan/John Van Cleef of Amsterdam Holland. http://iowagravestones.org/gs_view.php/id_6778 Our lines are probably connected but perhaps way back. Rich Lowe Van Buren Co.
