Everyone pat themselves on the back. What a story. I know this deviates from genealogy but it deserves the recognition. This has been one of the most interesting discussions I've read in a long time. Could it be that so many of ushave responded because we still remember the one room school house or we have listened to our parents that had gone to the school. I am glad that this topic came up as it prompted me to write about Booth Twp. #8. I realized that I had not written about the school for my own life history record for preservation of my decendents. Therefore I copied it to myself so I could also have a copy. As someone else has already said "Lets keep up the conversation" .. It is interesting and some people may be finding lost relatives as well as faciltating the increased use of look-ups etc. for the ancestors.
