Hello, I have found that if you call the county courthouse, you may be able to get the number of the "Trustee" for the cemetery (at times there may be more than one) and speak to them, sometimes they have a record of who is buried in the cemetery. Another idea is the local genealogy center or history center to write to & the may be able to assist you. It depends on the cemetery & also the county where it is located. You may also want to put a request on Iowa Gen Web, Be sure to go to the county they are buried & place a querry to see if someone can be assistance to you. Good luck!!
