Re the patents ... Did anyone else wonder what a pig snout holder was (and why would anyone want to)? First I thought it might be for a veterinarian (or a farmer) to help insert a ring into the pig's nose. Seems to me I remember that some pigs (boars I think) did have rings in their noses. Maybe they still do. Then I Googled it and find that quite recently there has been another patent granted to be used in the meat packing industry in connection with processing pig heads. Jeanne Surber
