They were born in Crieff,Perthshire Scotland-John abt. 1818 and William abt. 1827. They had a sister Martha b. abt. 1823 who married John Miller in Crieff and remained in Scotland. Their mother was Josephine Macque,perhaps born in Ireland, and father was either Robert or William Livingston (a question we are researching). According to an LDS member submission in the IGI, both men died in Iowa:William in April 1877 and John in Scotch Grove, buried in Four Horn, Jones, Iowa. John is believed to have married a Margaret Ferguson in Crieff. I found a family that matches well in the 1860 census in Madison. In 1880, Margaret is a widow living with the younger of her children. I haven't been able to locate William on the census. I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who connects with this family or has information to share or can suggest some research ideas.
