    3. While transcribing the census, I came across an occupation that I had never heard of. I wondered if anyone on the list might have an idea of what it is. As best I could read the census, it said "Linner" as an occupation. Does anyone have an idea what that might be? I thought it might be "Tinner" but I don't know what that would be either.     3. My great grandfather was a Tinner. He worked with sheet metal. Listed in a city directory as "tinner and cornice maker".
