A. Margaret Ellen Kinehart Dalton (born abt 1846 in MD per census records) (Mother - Anna Louise Heil Kinehart, Father - either Andrew or Conrad Kinehart per my analysis of census records, land records, and death certificates) Husband - Edward Dalton (sources - Illinois website showed Margaret Ellen Kindheart married Edward Dalton on 11/23/1863 in Brown Co. and on deed dated 6/18/1881, Margaret E. Dalton and husband Edward Dalton, now residing in Saunders County, NE, released their 1/10th interest in Anna Kinehart's 120 acre farm in Brown Co. IL.) Info wanted: Birthdate of Margaret, name of father, names of children, death date and place of burial, info on husband B. Elizabeth Kinehart Kennedy (born abt 1850 in Bedford Co. PA per census records) (Parents - Anna Louise Heil Kinehart & Conrad Kinehart per census records and land records). Husband - Simon Kennedy (source - deed dated 10/12/1881, Elizabeth Kennedy and husband Simon Kennedy, now residing in Saunders County, NE, released their 1/10th interest in Anna Kinehart's 120 acre farm in Brown Co. IL) Info wanted: Birthdate of Elizabeth, names of children, death date and place of burial, info on husband C. Mary Kinehart Swanson (born April 1860 in IL per census records) (Parents - Anna Louise Heil Kinehart & Conrad Kinehart per census records and land records). Husband - Edward Swanson (source - deed dated 10/12/1881, Mary Swanson and husband Edward Swanson, now residing in Saunders County, NE, released their 1/10th interest in Anna Kinehart's 120 acre farm in Brown Co. IL). According to the 1900 MD census, Annie Pollock, b. April 1860 in IL, was identified as a sister living in the household of Andrew Kinhart in Harford Co. MD. Perhaps, Mary's name is really "Mary Ann" and perhaps she remarried someone named Pollock subsequent to 10/1881. Hi List ... My great grandmother, Jane Paulson, married in Rock Creek, Iowa, John (Jack) Hovelson (first called Hans) March 19, 1871. Jane was born 1853 in Norway and came to America as an infant. I have her passport. Jane's parents were Maria and Andrew Paulson. She had also a brother Eleck. Can anyone look at an 1860 census to determine if there were also two sisters living in the household: Mary and Jennie Paulson. Supposedly each of these sisters would later marry John Anton Williams (Wilhelmson). They were all living in the Osage or Rock Creek area of Iowa. Thanks so much! Nanci
Many thank you(s) to Shirley, RC and Dick for the census images. The LOCY name was truly corrupted on the Censuses-SOEY, LOTHER, LACY, LOCEY, but I do believe all of you successfully found them for me. Thank you for the kind assistance. May you have the happiest of New Years. Judy Neu Springwater, NY

My great-great Uncle--Alonzo Locy/Locey/Losey b. PA is found in the 1870 Census in Hardin Co, IA with a second wife, Hulda/Huldah. The name on the census (so I am told) is SOSY. They have three sons, Franklin, age 11, b. PA, Charles, age 5, and Arthur age 4. I do not have a copy of the census and would really appreciate it if sks could send me one. I do not find them in the LDS listing for 1880 under any of the possible spellings, but I have been told that in the 1900 Census and 1920 Census Hulda is in the Buchanan County Hospital for the Insane. Alonzo or Lonzo Locy was married to my great-great-Aunt, Maria Carpenter, before Hulda, but they divorced and allegedly he moved into IA as part of a LDS settlement. I would appreciate any assistance in getting documentation on this family and their whereabouts in IA. Thank you, and happiest of New Years to one and all. Judy Neu Springwater, NY

Need Help finding Lot Baker born 1851/1852, Eng. Lot Baker, was born in 1851 or 1852 in Somerset, England, death date unknown. He came to America in about 1869, then returned to England, got married and stayed in England. Lot Baker may have been living near his 1/2 siblings in Dubuque Co, Iowa, from about 1869 to about 1895, likely in Dodge Twp, around or in Farley. I cannot find Lot Baker1851 in Heritage Quest files. There is a Lot Baker listed on Ancestry, which I do not subscribe too, but would appreciate a look up. Emailing off list is fine. I am searching for records on Mathias and Anna Dvorak, the parents of Rose Dvorak Polansky. Rose was born on Aug. 28, 1856, in Czech. and they came to the USA about 1861, settling near Spillville, Iowa. Do they appear on the 1870 Iowa Census or any later Census, or any special State Census? I am trying to tie that Dvorak family into my Dvorak ancestors. Thanks for any clues. LaVerne Miller --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. I've been in the counting house this afternoon, counting out Iowa family group sheets. We have just over 1800 online. Many thanks to all of you who have submitted yours and to all of you who have kept your information and your email addresses updated. But I'm greedy. I want more, say, 200 more by the end of January 2005. That'll take us over 2000. All each of you has to do is send me one or two family group sheets. That's a snap, no more than a few minutes of your time unless Great Great Grandma and Grandpa had a bezillion children. Then it might take a little longer, but you have the potential to hear from more cousins too. Just go to http://www.rootsweb.com/~iafgs/ and choose "Electronic Form" or the "Alternate Email Form," and enter your data. If you keep hitting enter and sending an incomplete form, work offline (the instructions are on the FGS home page). Remember, I can't post any information about persons who are living or might be (born in 1904 or later). And I need your FGS as a text (.txt) file. I hope to find your ancestors in my mailbox before Super Bowl Sunday! Greta Thompson IAGenWeb Family Group Sheet Manager bluebear@new.rr.com
