Penina Allene Deweese (1836-1912) on Nov. 3, 1853 in Washington Co. She was the dau. of Harrington Deweese and Mary "Nancy" Pavey. A George W. Marsha, John A. J. Lowery and George W. Lowery were brothers. Both John and George, along with a sister, Sarah, appear to be born in IN. Their father, John P. Lowery probably migrated from VA, although that trail has been elusive. John was married previously and had 3 known children who would have been half-siblings to John and George. William A. md Margaret Kay, Nancy md Charles Lane, and Elizabeth md Andrew Hurd. John P.'s 2nd wife, Martha/Patsy Onstott also had children - one dau, Orpha Orange md. Samuel Newby IV/JR.
