I have been able to determine that the Albert T. Emery that was the son of Samson and M.J. was, indeed, my great grandmothers twin brother. Thanks to all who helped. Apparently, my great grandmother, Alberta, married a man by the name of Taggart or Taggert before she married my great grandfather. If anyone knows of, or can find documentation of this, please, let me know. Also still searching for information on Samsons other wife, Mary Shepherd, a possible 3rd wife, and the identity of Samsons step-son Elmer Blair as listed on the 1880 census. Thank you.
