I am researching John PHILLIPS and Mary Witsman PHILLIPS who may have lived in Washington County, IN, between 1820 and 1850. Their children were: Jacob, Jonathan, Catherine, Conrad, Rebecca, Mary "Polly", James K. and William. Their son, Jonathan Phillips married Dorcas Serilda Mayfield in Lawrence County, IN, on 15-AUG-1850. I believer the MAYFIELDS came from Washington County, too. Dorcas' father was Robert MAYFIELD and her mother, Elizabeth ?? Does anyone have any information about MAYFIELDS or PHILLIPS living in Washington County? Donna Morrison Smith
