I have just transcribed a document which indicates that an ancestor was residing in Washington County, Indiana in the year 1830 and wondered if anything (and I do mean anything) is available on them ~ ~ this would be Ann WALKER who married John NEWLON (or NEWTON). I have no information as to when, or where, they married. The only info is as stated "of Washington County & state of Indiana" and the document is dated March 2, 1830. Ann WALKER was a sister to William S. WALKER (wife Louisa LEFFLER); Thomas Burton WALKER (wife Nancy WOODRUFF); and Sarah B. (WALKER) McCORMICK (widow of Alexander McCORMICK). Ann was born circa 1800/1801 and most likely the eldest of the 4 children of William WALKER & 2nd wife Jane BURTON. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
