So if you see anything that you can help me verify below, I would love to hear from you. Several of the sons have marriages not verified. This particular line began as a Quaker family from Pasquotank NC area. I'm just beginning to track more of this line in Indiana. I know some of their grandchildren went further west. This information began with a search in the Abstracts of the Records of the Society of Friends in Indiana, Edited by Willard Heiss. Quaker book Volume #, 5, page 108, dated 1815 list Samuel & wife Rachel__ & children. I have followed these families through the 1850 census. And confirmed with the will of Samuel Nicholson of Bartholomew County dated 1844. Would like to hear from anyone connected. She was born July 13, 1772 in NC, and died August 29, 1844 in Bartholomew Co., IN. They are buried on their family farm in SandCreek Township. Children of SAMUEL NICHOLSON and RACHEL PERRY are: i. May 03, 1817, Washington County, Indiana; b. August 29, 1788, NC; d. January 08, 1840; m. possibly (2) ADAM KENOYER, Abt. November 13, 1847; b. February 28, 1814; d. January 23, 1896. iv.
