There is a strong possibilty that Rebecca Hall Kester, d/o William Hall and Polly Thixton, married again after first husband William Kester died. There is a marriage recorded: Rebecca Kester -> Quincy Kelso, Oct 14, 1862 G 277 Quincy and Rebecca appear in the 1870 Census, Howard Twp, living within a couple houses of Jackson Hall, Ivy Hall, Asa Hall and a bunch of others. This tends to lean toward this being the Rebecca Hall Kester d/o William. Incidentally, in the 1870 census, she is listed as age 48, bringing her dob to about 1822, in line with the Rebecca d/o William. By the 1880 Census, Rebecca is still in Howard Twp (still living very near alot of Hall's). But, now she is listed as "Rebecca Kester" widow. My theory is: she married again after William Kester - to Quincy Kelso. But, Quincy died bet 1870 - 1880 and she took back her first married name. Maybe someone wants to look for Quincy (he doesn't appear in 1880) Gayle
