Marsha, You say "My records show Rebecca Hall b: July 31, 1831, d: Nov. 21, 1861 and is buried in the Hall Cemetery." I'm sorry, but I still don't see where the confusion is. This Rebecca Hall would certainly not be the one that m. Aaron Long. Her to tombstone would have said Rebecca Long, not Hall. Nuff said ~Lou
If you had read Marsha's note carefully, she said her records showed "Rebecca Hall" was buried in Hall Cemetery. She is quite correct.... Since all prior correspondence was referring to Rebecca's maiden name - Marsha merely responded accordingly. Hall Cemetery Index: Rebecca Long b. July 31, 1831 d. Nov 21, 1861 Father: Asa Hall Mother: Sarah (unknown) Wife of Aaron R. Long Married Nov 21, 1850 Asa is also listed in this index - clearly stating his parents as William Hall and Polly Thixton ----- Original Message ----- From: <GraveNews2@aol.com> To: <INWASHIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, August 09, 2002 11:45 AM Subject: Long, Hall, Kester > Marsha, > You say "My records show Rebecca Hall b: July 31, 1831, d: Nov. 21, > 1861 and is buried in the Hall Cemetery." > I'm sorry, but I still don't see where the confusion is.
