Hello descendants , and anyone who has imfo; I am looking for the Umbarger/ Umberger, that went to Washington Co. Ind and maybe Jackson Co Ind before a 1840. Maybe a descend of Michael b abt 1717/8, son John b abt 1759, his son amybe Phillip b abt 1780?/, and then his son, maybe a Henry?/ b abt 1800??? in Wythe Co. Va. Whoever it was maybe a Henry Umbarger ?? that went to Washington Co Ind and had several children and both the parents passed on while ch were still small. Childeren were, Minerva b 1823, James W. b before that and a Sophia also. b abt 1821 and all three b in Washington Co Ind. . Their father was b in Wythe Co. Va it is believed and his parents came from Pa. Minerva and Sophia was in Jackson Co Ind then went to Iowa Co Ia then Minerva went to Tama Co Ia. and she died in 1854. there.
