Hello Herb, I was looking at your web site with the descendents of Richard Wright of Rowan Co. and noticed that the Gilstraps tie into Bennetts. I couldn't tell exactly where they connect, but I noticed that you have Marquis Field Bennett and Martha Ann Myers. The parents of Marquis Field Bennett are John Bennett, Sr. and Nancy Ann Prather., both born in NC and died in Sparksville, IN. I am descended from Marquis' sister, Delilah, who married Townsend Nicholson. I have more information on the family of John and Nancy Bennett.
