The Annual Allen Family Reunion The Annual Allen Family Reunion for descendants of Amos Milroy Allen (1886-1961) and his wife, Ida Zolula (Blankenbaker) Allen (1887-1969) will be held on Sunday, Father's Day, June 20, 2004 at the Hindsboro, Douglas County, Illinois Village Park. We will probably start eating at around 12:30. This is a pot-luck, carry-in lunch. Please bring your own table service, table cloths, lawn chairs, and etc., plus a dish to share. There is a playground for the kids and shade for the older folks! This date is a change from the usual last Sunday in June, to allow for several of us to attend a special Stewart Family Reunion in Scottsburg, Indiana on Sunday, June 27, 2004. Amos Milroy Allen, mentioned above was the son of Riley S. Allen and his wife, Catharine "Katie" (Stewart) Allen. This Family Homecoming in Scottsburg is a gathering of Stewart and related families who have recently become acquainted over the internet at the James Stewart website. It will include family history sharing, research opportunities, and cemetery tours.
