    3. I'm trying to sort out the different CHARLES families that were in Washington Co, thru 1850. On the 1850 Wash. Co, Jackson twp census, pg. 298, there is a William CHARLES, 60, b: KY along with Elizabeth, 50, b: KY ... on pg. 272, there is a Levin Charles, 26, b: NC and an Elisha Charles, 30, b: NC. Does anyone know how these CHARLES' are related? Was the KY birthplace for William Charles in error (should it have been NC?) Does anyone have any further information on William? 1850 Wash. Co. Franklin twp census shows a Nathan CHARLES, 68, b: MD. Does anyone know if this was actually Nathan Charles, b: Nov. 10, 1780, d: March 29, 1869? Wife is said to have been Sarah TEAGUE (dau. of Joab), but I cannot locate this marriage record (unlike the other Teague-Charles marriages.) Jonathan Charles (brother of Nathan), b: Jan. 22, 1789, Rowan Co, NC; d: 1828, Wash. Co, wife: Margaret Garrison, md: March 4, 1819, Rowan Co (dau. of James Garrison, RS.) Did Margaret remarry? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I believe I have found the parents of Nathan and Jonathan and their other siblings, but I need further documentation. Thanks. Marsha IL
