    1. [INWASHIN] RE: Beck marriage 18OOs
    2. Hi List, I certainly hope that all is well with you and yours, today!!! I am ambitiously attempting to discover a marriage that might have taken place in Washington County, Indiana in 1800s. This is the Marriage of a William Beck to a Mary White. No date is known but do have death information that leads me to your fine County. As I have been to the usgenweb.net (project state pages) I believe this William P. Beck to be of the George Beck family Beck clan of your earliest settlers. Also, Is anyone aware of the history surrounding the Beck's Mill region within your County? Please respond, GEO

THE PATERNAL ANCESTRY OF JOHANN MICHAEL WILLHEIT by Johni Cerny The parish registers of Schwaigern's Evangelical Lutheran church begin in 1600, making that date, effectively, the beginning point of Johann Michael's traceable family. The earliest known ancestor is Johann Michael's great-great-grandfather, Hans Willert. Because parish registers contain few, if any, historical or biographical notes, little is known about the family's life from that source. Han Willert was born c. 1550, probably in Schwaigern, but nothing in the register remarks about his birth, marriage, or death. His son Joerg's marriage record, dated 8 Mar. 1615 refers to his father as "the deceased Hans Willeyt." 4226. Hans Michael was born about 1560 in Schwaigern, Germany. 4230. 1. [INWASHIN] PHILLIPS and MAYFIELDS
    2. Donna Smith
    3. I am researching John PHILLIPS and Mary Witsman PHILLIPS who may have lived in Washington County, IN, between 1820 and 1850. Their children were: Jacob, Jonathan, Catherine, Conrad, Rebecca, Mary "Polly", James K. and William. Their son, Jonathan Phillips married Dorcas Serilda Mayfield in Lawrence County, IN, on 15-AUG-1850. I believer the MAYFIELDS came from Washington County, too. Dorcas' father was Robert MAYFIELD and her mother, Elizabeth ?? Does anyone have any information about MAYFIELDS or PHILLIPS living in Washington County? Donna Morrison Smith

    3. Allen, I don't have a clue as to the Harrison/Harris switch; but have this information about Alina Boling: She was the daughter of Gilbert Boling and Martha Ellen Burris/Burrows. CENSUS: 1860 Washington Co, IN 14 June, Brown Township, Mount Carmel P. O. page 134, l. 28 #398, lists Gilbert Boling, age 30, farmer, $125, b. IN, wife was Martha Ellen, age 26, b. IN, children Martha Emerine age 7, Allina Ellen, age 6, Isaiah, age 4, Mary Elphine age 3, Diantha Elizabeth, age 3/12.
