    1. [INWARRIC] Va, Am. Legion, Cifil War Question

    3. Good Morning, I have a question about what is a proper dedication burial ceremony for a Civil War Veteran. Could someone that is an active VA, American Legion or Civil War Reenactment answer the following question: I located the grave of my GGrandfather at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, Indiana. There was no grave marker. I obtained a form VA 40-1330 from the VA office in DC requesting a maker. It will arrive in a few months. My question is, since there was no maker of any kind, and no indication that there was ever any recognition of his patronage in the Civil War is there a ceremony or service that is appropriate when the maker is in place. I would appreciate a response, Kind Regards, Paul Traylor Milwaukee, Wisconsin
