Leslie born about 1810 in Kentucky & his wife Elizabeth Reed with the following children: Shelton b. 1827; Marion b. 1832; Richard b. 1834; Elizabeth b. 1835; Leander b. 1837; Martin J. b. 1838; Marion b. 1842; & William b. 1846. All children were born in Indiana according to the record I have. Perhaps the first Marion died young & a 2nd child was given the same name several years later. Theophilis was a son of Benjamin Leslie (1755-1820) & an unknown wife; Benjamin was a son of Peter (1731-1804) & Susannah (Walther) Leslie.
