It's interesting to note that William SKELTON's wife is listed as Sarah Scales. Some Skelton researchers say her maiden name is unknown, others say it was SIMS. We have found no proof of ANY maiden name to date. William's son Zachariah married two SCALES. First Nancy Jane and then an Elizabeth, according to most records we have found.
