When doing research at our local LDS library, I found some mistakes on the IGI microfiche and mentioned it to one of the volunteers. They told me that the material on the IGI site is submitted by individuals. It may not be correct but that's all they have to go on. If you find a mistake, you can write to them and they will change it. However, if someone else sends in something different then it will be changed again. Therefore, I don't take IGI files as the "gospel". I only use them as a reference to check out.....which is what we should do with all data that we find on the internet unless there is documented proof....then that should be checked out also. Phoebe
