Your best bet is to request a death certificate from Ind. State Board of Health in Indpls. The death certificate they issue has all of the info. re. cause of death, length of illness, location, funeral home, who notified, etc. I've tried to get a number of death certificates in Warrick Co., but the clerk wasn't able to find a record of the death although I knew for certain the person had died in that county.
