Mildred Aline Barnett Byers was my older cousin. She died when I was very young and all of her children were adopted by others. One such was Franklin Ray Byers. I have been working for years on Warrick County family connections, but had not yet begun on Mildred's children. Her father, Elvis Hendricks Barnett, was a brother of my mother, Virginia Ruth Barnett West.
