Goad. She was born 27 JUN 1837 and died 15 MAY 1922. Their marriage took place on 18 NOV 1853. Akillas was born 29 MAR 1830 and died 24 SEP 1914. All these events were in Warrick Co., IN. Akillas was the son of Peter Goad and Dicy Smith. Peter was born 1 JAN 1806 and lived in White Co., TN. He died 15 Jan 1892 in Warrick Co., IN. Dicy died 8 OCT 1867 in Warrick Co., IN. Peter was the son of Stephen Goad and Rachel Smith. Stephen lived in VA, but later moved to White Co., TN (where he is buried). You may already have this information. I would guess that Dicy Smith was a sister to your Akillas Smith, and hence why she named her son Akillas. This is just some information that I picked up while gather my Barclay line. Alan Miles
