May 12 1883 Thursday Elopement The freight train Tuesday morning brought to Boonville Wm F Gebhardt and Miss Nanie Catlin of Evansville Who were made husband and wife by the Rv Wolfe At the Prince Albert Hotel. The lovers were forbidden to marry by the parents of the bride And not thinking the objection of sufficient weight they Took things in their own hands and eloped.
