I am looking for any information on my grandfather who was Henry C. Wilson and married to Ona Stephens. Henry was born in the 1880's and died about 1917 due to the flu epidemic during that period. At the time he was the preacher at Davis Chapel Church in Clinton county, where he along with his wife Ona are buried. I think they may have lived in Monticello (WaneCounty) at the time of his death. Ona was from the Russell Springs area and her father was Andrew Stephens. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Henry Stearns, Jacksonville Fla.

Your best bet is to request a death certificate from Ind. State Board of Health in Indpls. The death certificate they issue has all of the info. re. cause of death, length of illness, location, funeral home, who notified, etc. I've tried to get a number of death certificates in Warrick Co., but the clerk wasn't able to find a record of the death although I knew for certain the person had died in that county. Good luck.

    1. [INWARRIC] Boon link
    2. Hi All, There is a new link in the Warrick page for Ratliff Boon at the State Library Page. I know the link is good because I was there this morning when I copied the link and went back several times. However at this time you might get a page not found message. This could be due to a busy server or the site shut down for maintenance. I'll keep tabs on this problem to make sure the link works. Gilbert
