Am seeking information about the above organizations.Such as, where might I find rosters, information about personnel,point or organization,Headquarters etc. Any help appreciated. I finally found out that there was an actual territory named "The Territory of the US South of the OHIO". Also known as Southwest Territory. Also, who was Lt Walker, where was he from. Does anyone know who or what The Davidson County Rangers were. Does anyone know who and what Lieut Walkers Rangers were. Both are shown as for The territory South of The Ohio, so Iassume they were a band of Peace keepers or Indian Fighters due the time period. I am seeking information on a George NUTTERFIELD who signed on as a private in 1792. Where were they formed? Where did they recruit. I do know that George settled in Shelby Co, Ky as early as 1790. I am seeking any information. George is shown on FTM records as Revolutionary War 1780-1789, but, the only record I have, so far is with the 2 above units. I asume that the Davidson County referred is Davidson County Tn, as I dont know of another at that time. Or, it could have been the home of Lt Walker. Boonville- James Smith age 33 yrs died Thursday Apr 23 1895 at his home 4 miles south of Boonville of Lung Fever. Jesse Jones will hang at Paris ,Logan County ARK on May 31 1895 for the murder and partly creamation of the bodies of Charles and Jesse Hibdon on Feb 21 1894. The charred remains of the bodies were found in the embers of the burned cabin near here. A horse and other property were found on Jesse Jones property 2 weeks hereafter. The Schafer Brothers Funeral Home Records entry above of my however-many-great-grandmother, Sarah Farmer Hart, prompted me to post the information that my mother and I have so far on that part of our Hart line. Sarah Farmer was the second wife of William Hart; the first wife was Sarah Banta, whose children were John Nelson Hart and Emeline Hart.
