Posted on: Warrick County In. Query Forum Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/In/Warrick?read=1137 Surname: Smith, Goad ------------------------- I am hoping for some new help. I am searching for information on the Smith and Goad families in Warrick County during the 1800's. Achilles (A.Killis) Smith married Jane (Jenna) Goad in 1830. She is probably the daughter of Rachel Smith Goad - widow of Steven Goad who died in Tenn. Rachel and family moved to Indiana in the 1820's. Jenna was noted as being born in TN during the 1850 census in Warrick Co. Achilles may have come with this family from TN but was originally born in VA. Achilles and Jane had a son - Simon Peter Smith - who was a farmer in Warrick County. I need information on Achilles and Jane -- ANY info on the Smith and Goad families in Warrick Co. would be so appreciated. Thanks, Myra Smith in Virginia
