WELLS, b. abt 1832, possibly IL or OH. He married Sarah A. GREGG/GREIG/GRAGE and they had Dema, Edwin and Martha. The family is found on the 1860 Census, Dunklin Co. MO.: Charles W. Wells, 28 M carriage maker, OH. Sarah, 27 F IN , Dema, 3 F IL, (this appears to be an error since descendants say she was born in MN) Edwin, 2 M MO (this appears to be an error since his marriage license states that he was born in Cass Co., IL) Martha, 2/12 F MO. Sarah shows up in Chester, Randolph Co., IL , married to Amos D. BARNETT in 1872. Charles would have been my gr grandfather and I'd love to find out what happened to him.
