JOHN C. STEVENS Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Grace Stevens, wife of John C. Stevens, which occurred on March 2 at the Stevens home in Herndon, Cal. Her death was due to lung trouble and she had been an invalid for some time. Mrs. Stevens was twenty-two years old and was the daughter of Frank Sherer, formerly of the Wea. She was born and reared in this county. Her husband, father, two brothers, Early and Ralph Sherer, all of Herndon, survive. She was a niece of Adam Wallace and Mrs. John Beemer, of this city. Mrs. Stevens was a most lovable young woman, of true Christian character and her many friends here will be grieved to learn of her death.
