    1. [INTIPPEC] A question about cemetery plots
    2. William MOTE is buried in Battle Ground Cemetery. He is connected to this ROBINSON family I am researching. I see that Jesse Walter ROBINSON is buried there too, from a family group sheet I got from TIPCOA. I would like to know how would I find out about family plots and who's there at Battle Ground. Jean :)

    3. I think Battle Ground is under the care of a Cemetery Association. You can try to contact Mr. Bob Gross. 765-567-2371. Mary Wilson wrote a book on Battle Ground Cemetery a few years ago. Believe she worked through what records they still had and also updated the newer burials. I don't remember if she had plot numbers or not. But I'm sure she created some kind of map to use. This book is at the research library and may be at the public library too. Mr.David Cheesman published many cemetery books on the southern part of our county. He often put a plat map in his books as well as art drawings of the stones and obituaries too. They are wonderful books. Many of our old cemeteries have no records. Stories I've heard state they were burned or thrown away. This is one of the things I am working on when we visit the old pioneer cemeteries. So check with the people at the research library when go visit for plat maps.
