In failing health for five years, she had been hospitalized one day. A native of Romney, she was born on June 9, 1900, and had lived in the Lafayette area all of her life. Her marriage on May 16, 1922, was to Artie A Kesler, who preceded her in death on Feb 23, 1965. They farmed in the Heath area for 40 years. Mrs Kesler was a member of St James Lutheran Church, and she enjoyed crocheting. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Louise Younker of Battle Ground, and two sons Floyd R Kesler and H Keith Kesler, both of Lafayette. Service Oct 17 in Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, Pastor John Herfurth officiating. Interment Concord Cemetery. (Lafayette , Indiana Journal and courier, October 18, 1990)
