Neville, daughter of Jethro and Elizabeth Neville, was born in Hardy county, Virginia, May 11, 1812, removed to Clark County, Indiana in 1825, and was married to Lorenzy D. Warren, August 24, 1827. To them five children were born. Two died in infancy, one after reaching womanhood and the two youngest, a daughter and son, survive, viz: Miss Kate Warren, of Stockwell, and L. D. To them three daughters were born, two of whom survive, viz: Mrs. John Hanna, of Maxwell, California, an! d Mrs. Dr. Prettyman, of Melvern, Kansas. She was left a widow the second time March 8, 1869. She was converted and joined the M. E. church at the age of 13 and lived a consistent Christian life. Though her sufferings were intense during her illness, she could often look beyond this life and testify to the saving grace of Christ, and would often exclaim: “Oh, how happy I am and how I trust in Jesus!” She died after a long and painful illness. Services were held at the M. E. church, Stockwell, Tuesday at 10 o’clock. Interment in the BARCUS CEMETERY, one and a half miles west of Stockwell. Rev.
