Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Hi.2ADI/1972 Message Board Post: THE DEATH OF WILLIAM AMBROSE CORNELL -- William Ambrose Cornell died at his home at Stockwell at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon following a three months' illness. He was the son of William and Alva Cornell and was born in Clinton county, Indiana, June 6, 1874. He was married first to Emma Lawson on February 8, 1898. She died in June, 1903, and on February 5, 1905, he united in marriage with Eva Cartmill who survives together with the following children: Mrs. Alma Parvis, Kenneth, Leonard and Bernice. Four brothers and two sisters also survive: Thomas, Clyde, James, Ray, MRS CHARLIE ANDERSON, Mrs. Grace Landis, of Frankfort, and one grandchild. The deceased was a member of the Masonic Lodge and that order will be in charge of the funeral which is to be held at Stockwell M. E. church at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, Rev. G. W. Smith, officiating. Interment will be made in Salem cemetery. The body was prepared for burial at the Baker undertaking parlors.
