I don't have any further information on Andrew Campbell. Galliopolis Bulletin November 2, 1887 Galliopolis, Ohio Mr. Andrew Campbell, of Battle Ground, Ind., died at his home there, after an illness, with much suffering, extending over a year. He was a brother of Capt. Jas. and Wm. Campbell of Green township and Mrs. Margaret Cherington and Mrs. Wm. Cavin, Sr. of this city. Of his death the Daily News of Lafayette, Ind. says: Andrew Campbell was born in Gallia County, Ohio, March 7, 1834. Died at his home in Battle Ground, Ind., Saturday, October 22, 1887. In the year 185 he was married to Rose Anne Scott, with whom he has lived happily for thirty-two years. In 1865 he moved with his family to Battle Ground; there he has since remained. He has been a sufferer from liver and stomach troubles for the last twenty years, working upon his nervous system and at times making him despondent and irritable. This disease so fastened upon him, that for the last few months he could see his end approaching. He saw it and like a brave sould walked forth to meet it. During the last few months of his illness, though constitutionally a wreck, yet he bore all cheerfully, becoming as patient and gentle as a child.
