Danielson, a member of the firm of Carel & Danielson, blacksmiths and carriage builders, Stockwell, was born in the southern part of Sweden, his father's name being Daniel Mingson. He grew to manhood in his native country, remaining there until 1870, when he immigrated to the United States, going first to Austin, Texas, where he remained a year. In 1871 he removed to Galveston, Texas, and while a resident of that place was married to Miss Christina Anderson, April 24, 1872.They had the following children: Ferdinand, John, Sallie and Walter. He worked at his trade in Galveston until 1877, when he came to Indiana locating first at Lafayette, and in 1878 he came to Stockwell, and the same year he became associated in his present business with Mr John A. Carel. Mr. Danielson is a member of the Odd Fellows order. He was a Methodist. (History of Tippecanoe County).
